Suggestions are welcome if you like one part of a logo and like another part of another one.

1, 5, 8, 10

Remove the ball from 5 and add to 10 and see how it looks. May have to play with the colour a little.

Im not 2 sure on some of the logos for example the name is defender so it will have 2 be a logo with a shield. But alll the logos with a shields in looks poo.

but i would pick number 10 just because it stands out more then the rest and number 1 just looks like a logo for a shoe company like nike :s

Of the current crop, I like 8 the best, although I like the font/color/etc of 10, I just don't like the ball above the logo. maybe that font/color with the design of 8..... 9's cool too, but again, I don't like the logo to the left of the text...

10 and 5 are the best IMO. Use the font from 5 and use the ball from 10.

Frankly, you should go see a professional designer if you haven't done it already. It pays off in the long run.

Heh, funny you should say that. These were done by a professional firm, the same folks that did History Channel, Advil, TNT TV, and A&E.

Any constructive feedback I can pass along?

At first glance, I was like NICE! Now after viewing them on and off all day, and hearing other peoples feedback, I'm not liking any of them, none of them stand out and say WOW!

The goal of the design is to portray something professional, with some sort of graphic that gives you a feeling of a security related type of company, etc. If that makes any sense.

The idea of a shield was one, but folks say that is too boring, etc. What other type of graphics do you think would fit in?

This is exactly how I felt (and it seems others as well). None of them really make you say WOW, or COOL, or anything else....just blah.

I take it Defender Hosting is the new name for ECGN?

Maybe have some badass knight or something (rather than a shield)? Maybe a shield and sword?
