morale low for some? you could always start up a {dis} clan so everyone who joins can reminisce about how it coulda been/how much better it was, or for the more shallow ones just a means to keep the post count up.

It's not true. ECGN admins are handpicked from a select few that have not only contributed and earned the respect of the RTCW community, but also show judicial like character and distinctive qualities that enable them to make drastic decisions in order to quickly and efficiently create a peaceful, joyful PC gaming environment from what once was corrupted by a darker power known as the 'nub'.

Savant, if I PM'ed you all the instances of admin power abuse, and the screenshots as proof (I take too many demos/screenshots), what would happen? Nothing, lol.

Hehe, anyways, my last post was sort of a joke. Yes, I have noticed in the past, admins abusing their powers. Yes, I have screenshots to back up numerous incidents. Do I feel like posting them in the 'Abuse' forum or whatever? No, because for every instance of admin abuse, I notice AT LEAST 10X the amount of good they do for the server in keeping the smacktard ratio low.

But maybe I should clarify my point--I notice people (ie admins) are a lot more receptive to suggestions/whining/requests/opinions if posted in the forums, rather than in game. And it makes sense too...nobody wants a buncha spam filling up their game, and people in the server want to play Wolf, rather than read a bunch of text--thats what the forums are for.

Oh yea, am I the only one who gets really confused whenever I read wo0t's post? =/ I cant tell when hes joking and when hes not, lol

NO.. well thought out statement, let me reasure you and anyone else who may feel alienated here that admin abuse is not acceptable period, and as long as ive played the server as an admin it never was.
So every now and then we get a situation like this where accusations are made, some folks get miffed and it goes away, thats bullshit, if there are genuine complaints about abuse, after all you do have screens who could refute that?

play quality on the server has gone way up IMO (sure there are moments) and i agree with you that all the admins there are a huge part of that.

has something happened recently thats causing these pokes for a response?

even if its "half jokingly" stated that admins are abusing thier authority i consider it very serious.

keeping "abuse" in the closet will not end it thats for sure so pony up what do you have to lose?
