How the...?

OK, I have a question. I see Lieutenants with mausers all the time. I was wondering how you pick up a mauser as a LT. I've thrown my thompson and tried everything my simple brain could think of to pick it up, but I don't know how other people do it. Whenever I ask, all i get for a response is "Magic," which is only slightly funny. If someone could help me out, that'd be cool...if not, I'll just move on and forget about it. Thanks.

Try pressing P... P is the drop weapon. You shouldn't have any prob's with dropping any weapon and picking any weapon up here....

Spawn as a slodier w/ muser, drop it somewhere you know that no one will take it, suicide and respawn as a Lt. Go back to the mauser and drop you weapon to take it. That's the magic trick. It's the same for the medics w/ Venom.

I am fairly sure you can't pick up a team-mates mauser unless it has been deliberately dropped (if he has just been killed and has tapped ou you won't get it) but you can pick up enemy mausers at will. It's confusing because you can see it on the floor, unlike the venom which doesn't appear unless specifically dropped, but you can't get it unless it has been dropped before the player tapped out.

as long as ur a soilder, change class in options drop gun /kill and go back and pick up ur weapon.. mauser,venom ect
