ECGN ping?

Mon May 31, 2004 9:36 am

Ok before i start.. im not entirely sure what section this goes under so if i have put it in the wrong section, please move it to the relavent one!

Now-- what is the ideal ping that you need? Anytime i try and connect it tells me that "server is for low pings only" - how low? And how can i change my ping?

(I only just realised theres an RTCW section-- my apologies.. also i cannot delete my own posts.. bugger:P)

there is a max ping set pretty sure its 250 anything more would be unbearable, try at non peak times

Every now and then when I connect it tells me the same thing but once I escape and reconnect it works fine. I usually run between 50-100 for ping.

What does a 999 ping signify? Is it a temporary loss of connection?

yep could be the dreaded wolf crash or a connect interupt

If I´m not wrong you are the same PanzerPussy from VOL, and you have an european connection. If you have more than 300Kbps (this is my connection and I have ping 140-170) you should can play on ECGN. Try to refresh your favourite list and join when ping is low. :whine: :whine:
