Thinking about starting a band!

it doesnt matter if he is punk or not. There are loads of rock bands that arent punk, but have punk influences. Just like there are loads of rock bands that arent blues, but have blues influences.

for instance, Jeffro has Sublime in his sig. That band has punk influences. Therefore Jeffro likes a band that has some influences from punk.

ive never really agreed with the term pop punk. that shit on mtv is my mom and little sisters idea of what current punk rock is. its pop music.

I love the concept: If you put an infinite number of monkeys in room and give them typewriters to bang on, one of them is statistically bound to hammer out the complete works of Shakespeare.

A great 80s comic called "Animal Man" had this concept on one of it's covers, it was just such a cool picture

awesome, i was pretty fed up with DC for a few years post crisis and only read JL Intl, im sorry i missed that one.
he meets forgotten DC characters in that issue , sounds interesting.

Good Charlotte right got ya, in the uk we have way to much respect for old school punk to call those nutless wankers punk. I don't really see the connection between those guys and the Sex Pistols or the Clash so I don't really know where they get the punk from.

People still enjoy the clash and sex pistols in the us. Unfortunatly, it is overshadowed by the manufactured crap we like to call "punk pop".

Musicianship is at a premium right now, so nostalgia for great past rockers is big with me now.
