Punkbuster

Hey I just installed RtCW for the first time since I got XP and I tried playing but it keeps saying ounkbuster initialization error and I get kicked. Can anyone help?

(I've already maually downloaded the newwest security files and updated using PBweb)

On multiplayer, where you see the servers names, you can see on the screen something that says Punkbuster Disable. Just click on it to set it on and you'll be playing with us a sec later.

Have you updated rtcw to the 1.4 patch? I think the server runs 1.41.. but 1.4 will do you.

Try some other servers until you find one with an autodownload of files. I think markos fun beach has them and they usually pick up whatever files you may have missed manually. Lame I know but it fixed my punkbuster a few months back.

About Punkbuster, I think now it doesn´t autokick for low score (independently of level). 10 minutes ago this retard decided learn to use the panzer and tked and tgibbed all the time, and his score, just when I´ve left (we need a solution):

man lord i'm unsure i had the same problem with quake 3, but not rtcw. i downloaded the auto-update for that and it fixed it
