It doesn't suprise me that my first post on the forums in months and Tango attacks it - some things never do change.

Keep listening to those Bush commercials saying how great it is that he was able to lower the interest rates, that great fact you pointed out that makes him so great may come true one day if you keep wishing it.

Nor does it suprise me that your first post back is in a political post, where the posts will get heated, and you 'sling'(as you like to say) accusations...

Then don't make an issue of it. I base my decisions on how good a job I think they will do now, not what job they did when they were in their 20s. Character and ability change after three decades.

Depends on which phase. The early phase, being fought properly, or the later phase, a politician-run blood bath.

But when it comes to calling a decorated vet a 'puss' ...

We are the citizens that are directly effected by their actions. We have the right in this country to question them, in case you never heard.
Due to injuries I would not even be allowed, they would send me right out the door the second they saw the metal in my shoulder. Besides that, why woudl I if I feel that the resonse we are over there are made up? I know, the Bush White House said 'no, they are not, see, photos of a building, never mind these buildings have been checked by inspectors and found to be nothing, just look at them.'
Hell no. But when it comes to calling a decorated vet a 'puss' and a man who hid in the Texas National Guard a good war leader it does come into play.
You know it is against the law for the President to begin funding a war without concent, correct? Bush used money from the war against terror to fund the start up on the War in Iraq. That is who is leading this country now, and it is just one instance of huge question marks on this mans term. Handing away contracts to companies that did not have to bid on them, that just happen to be the company Vice President ran? Um, hello? Just another instance of 'WTF is going on in DC?'
A storied division that has given a lot for this country. My friend that is currently attached to them personally handcuffed one of Saddam's Lieutenant a few weeks ago. It was a boost for him, he was getting tired of wild dogs chasing him and his squad through the streets while on patrol, kids bothering his squad while on patrol and nightly mortar attacks on his FOB without being able to catch the ones doing it.
