I never knew he was in the Canadian Military, and sounds like he participated in D-Day. Shame, it is a horrible disease.

i am a huge trekkie, that's too bad. I have a relative with early stages of alzheimers and it's really a difficult process to deal with.

He was at D-Day and lost part of one of his fingers there. Apparently you can only see this in two episodes of the original series. You should check out the IMDB page for him..the trivia has some neet stuff. I have personal experience with Alzheimers...it's going to be a tough time for his family.

"Scotty, my miracle man, give me full power!"

Let's hope he can still work a miracle at this time in his life... :(

that's too bad :(

I was surprised to read that he's 84. Still doing pretty good for that age, considering many can't even walk.

i think when i get old, im going to fake alzheimers and just do shit thats funny like try and steal stuff. act like a 4 year old and want to ride those quarter rides outside of grocery stores and shit.

On the other hand my grandmother does have alzhiemers so it maybe possible i'll be doing all that stuff without even trying. If the forums are still around in about 70 years... jeffro will be posting a story about an old guy fighting a 6 year old because he wanted to ride the toy hellicopter. and that person will be me.

and that post will be jeffro's 1,000,000,000th post. of course buli will have him by about 8 bil by then.
