Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Yea 24 is definetly one of the best shows. They planned the show very nicely, around Terrorism which is our biggest threat right now, and turned it into a drama with action for both men and women to watch. Its real addictive, im going to get the seasons on DVD.

Quantum Leap -- really good. No one yet mentioned it so I thought I would...
But all-time fav? No clue, but the Star Trek series would be what I've probably watched the most. I even watched Voyager.
And I will probably be watching Seinfeld until I'm dead.
Cartoons? Simpsons and Futurama are great. But remember a long time ago - many of you may have no idea what I'm talking about - back when Saturday morning cartoons were actually something to look forward to. The Bugs Bunny & Roadrunner Show came on a major broadcast network (ABC I think?) and ran for about 2-3 hours. Over the years it dwindled into nothing. Now if you want that much Bugs Bunny you have to wait till June and go to Cartoon Network. Those old Warner Bros cartoons are the best.

Good news Mugzy, are you aware that there will be a FIREFLY movie (Titled Serenity) due out in Apr '05. All original cast members too! Filming began this month. Sadly, the series won't return per Universal's contract. But if the movie does well, there might be more on the way.
One of the best quotes.. "if wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak!"

That has got to be the best news I have heard since I heard about the Farscape mini series.
EDIT: Fave current running series is an anime series: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Currently in its second season. Flame on

TNG was the first of a newer series; the rest built on that. It wasn't boring, unless smart=boring. And I did like Voyager, but took longer to grow on me.
TNG had to do more work to grow as a show, but it grew well. Toward the end of the series it was quite different (and better) than when it began.
I almost forgot to mention "Babylon 5." I couldn't stay awake for a full episode until TNT syndicated it a few years ago. I finally got into it and have to say it's great sci-fi. I haven't seen the spinoff(s?) so don't ask.

DS9 is about my all time Fav show...especially the last 3 or 4 seasons. Babylon 5 was also a great show. Everyone mentions the Simpson's, which is a great show, but I can't believe no one's said anything about Animaniacs! That show was really clever and funny. Freakazoid was good too. Of course, I'm partial to The Tick my self
M*A*S*H was a very funny show with a good deal of drama too...Scrubs is similar in some ways and one of the only shows I watch every week. Monk is really funny too.
