Damn, don't understand why it wouldn't work. I'm using a Linux client based on a server I telnet to, so it's not like my work can block it.

Edit:

I can connect to other irc servers, just not gamesurge. Is it possible that there's something client-side that got flubbed up? Might I be banned from gamesurge?

Strange.

The website is unavailable from work (host not found) and from the server that I usually use to connect (via lynx), however, I tried from another Linux server I have access to, and was able to connect to the website (via Lynx).

I had the same problem too yesterday. I couldn't connect to Gamesurge with Trillian because it timed out. I tried Mirc and that one worked on the second attempt.
