PDA's - Any Business Users here?

I've had a Blackberry for a few years now which holds all my contacts and maps out my schedule.

I am looking for a new one that will fit my needs, but seeing how there are so many of these out now, I thought I'd ask around to get peoples personal experiences. Product praises as well as your inner most anger will all be helpfull.

I've been eyeballing the Palm Tungsten C and Treo 600 (may be nice to get rid of my phone), as well as the Ipaq's.

This is basically what I will be using it for, and am looking at having in my next PDA:

WiFi - GOOD WiFi I should say.

Good Email - Preferably a system that will NOT delete the file off the server when it retreives is (at lease having an option).

Decent Web Browsing for stock watching and google searches, as well as maps.

Nice Sturdy Keypad. I like to use stylus only sometimes.

Sturdy construction.

Quick and efficient; most efficient |= fastest processor.

Screen needs to be good quality and easy to read in most any light. Higher resolution not essential but nice.

Expandability. Not only memory, but utility software and other useful tools.

And last, but not least.....

BATTERY LIFE!!

Heart, my cousins have ones that can do all that (and it's a phone too!) for their business. About $500 for it itself and then there are the addons/monthly obligations. I'll let you know what it is

Yah let me know. People's real experiences are better than all the cnet and other online reviews I can read.

But if I get one thats a phone as well, I'd probably want one that I can use on Cingular (best reception I've had in Puget Sound area), so the Treo 600 may be my only real option if I choose to get one thats a phone as well.

Recently got the Palm Tungsten T3. It's got a 400MHz processor and 64MB or RAM. It would meet some of your needs but definitely not all. Very fast, and very expandable. The screen is incredible as it expands. However, no WIFI or phone. Does have bluetooth capability (haven't tried that out yet). Don't know how to objectively rate battery life; I use mine for days without recharging it. I got it because the medical world that I work in is still pretty oriented to Palm OS and I didn't need WIFI, camera or phone. Screen is definetly the best; great if you often need to look at pics, as I often do. It has been very sturdy so far; dropped and kicked; no worries.

From the Palm line, the Tungsten C would probably be a better fit for your needs.

I don't need it to have a camera, and I dont really need to look at photos, although that could be a +.

The tungsten C looks great, but I can only imagine how nice it would be to have everything on one unit (Treo 600). I could look up a contact, and dial it from the same unit with a single button. Plus I could go through files and the calendar to let whoever I'm talking to know when I may be available without having to juggle two units.

Its a tough call. Gonna take a few weeks to get all the info I can before getting anything.

Well, I ended up getting the HP Ipaq 4355. It was just way more powerfull and had much better versatility than anything else for the price.

The keyboard on it is also very comfortable, unlike most of them out there.

The Palm Tunsgten C suffers from horribly cheap plastic that creaks as you try to type on it.

For expandability, power, overall performance and features, this one won me over very quickly.

Actually, the Treo 600 is what they have for their business phone.

The treo just lacked in certain areas, and the keyboard was very small and awkward. I have two units this way, but more flexibility.
