My Metsies made a move and i wont know if its real bad for at least a few years. I am kinda sick of hearing about all of the prospects they gave up that turned into stars, and the ones they kept that ended up sucking.

Boo the following teams:
Yankees (All of them except A-Rod)
Braves (All of them)
Marlins (All of them except Willis)
Phillies (Just Abreu)

Well, the Royals got some prospects - but the team still sucks :(

I'm a baseball fan right up until Football preseason starts.

Cubs and Mets both added some good players. The mets seem to be shooting themselves in the foot with trading so many promising prospects.

I am just glad the Indians did not trade any of their prospects for bit players. Seattle asked for grady Sizemore in a trade for lefty releiver Myers!!!! Sizemore is only the #7 ranked prospect in all of baseball, and at not even 22 is now on the major league team hitting .296 in limited(so far) at bats.

I think that NFL training camps have started and soon we can watch a real sport again.

texas rangers kick so much ass

Mon Aug 02, 2004 2:46 pm

Rangers are pretty good, they need a better starting rotation in the playoffs if they need to suceed. Besides i bet we see tiexiera arrested on that road in dallas where all the hookers patrol... Harry Hines i believe.....:) I saw the cards down in Big D when they played there, nice ball park. Funny thing was there were more Cards fans at the games than Ranger fans.

Wat do you expect the biggest sport in Texas is high school football. (MTV taught me that...everything they teach me is right)

Mon Aug 02, 2004 4:20 pm

Yes... MTV... our leader. Hail!

Mon Aug 02, 2004 4:28 pm

Go Yankees!

(too bad they couldn't get the unit though)

Bert

They had no chance at Johnson: they have NO prospects to speak of, so how can they trade for him?

Mon Aug 02, 2004 4:51 pm

that was all fodder to keep everyone else from getting him... the yanks never were going to get him.... they got some serious problems come playoff time. Their starting rotation needs some work... Loaiza was a good pick up. Contreras was dogshit.
