doom runs incredibly well on ultra high on 1024x768......i changed that cache image thing to 512 and it runs flawlessyl....1024x768 on high settings chugs a bit....and i cant figure out why...also i get a ton of white spots on just high settings.

Eh.....

They made the game so you had to switch to the flashlight and back for a reason....

Yea, but I bet if they had thought of it first, they would have added the Hello Kitty beam ;)

Yeah, it's creepy turning a corner with the flashlight, then seeing an enemy and running backwards while frantically switching weapons.

This game isn't about killing enemies - it's surviving them.

I'm gonna beat the game without using any mods. Thats how I like it :P Having to hold the flashlight by itself adds to the game imo.

I read some reveiw where the guy was like 'youd think this guy could find some duct tape and just tape his flashlight to the gun blah blah blah'. Ok I think to myself hmmm why doesnt he tape it on the gun? OHH thats right he doesnt have 15 flashlights to tape to all his weapons! Does this mod work for gernades too?

I love bashing things with the flashlight its the mans weapon of choice.:P

What do you think Carmack gave those demons 4 glowing eyes for anyway to make shooting them in the dark cool as hell.
