Confused!?!?

Now I just came from ecgn #2 and I have to say I am a bit mystified. This "admin" who is really nothing more than some kid playing the game is giving out kicks like candy corn on Halloween. Meanwhile back at the farm, I say something about a guy who has been camping a flag for almost 5 rounds and doesn't want to cap it, as he will then no longer be able to get those cheesey spawn kills and I am given grief.

Who's right? Are you allowed to spawn camp all the flag stations, regardless? Where is the adult server?

Or is mr admin just a kid who is too busy playing the game, instead of doing his "volunteer" job?

I was just getting ready to partake of your server program, but I have to wonder. Do we have to deal with your admins on any server we get, because that would be a NO SALE.

Who oversees all these kids? My guess is no one and the candor they exhibit is proof positive. The admins I know like Sgt. Devil Dog and some others are rarely there, but the garbage that no one knows, well you can't seem to shake them unless you go to another server.

I have been trying to coax some adult players into this server and they would rather play anywhere than here and it's a damn shame. They have the same complaints and they haven't ever been kicked or banned.

Should I bring these people to the forums? It's a long list.

I am told at the other server I work with, YOU EITHER PLAY or YOU ADMIN, but if you ADMIN POORLY WHILE YOU PLAY, you might not be an admin for long. I respect this and I respect your server, but truth is the negatives are starting to outweigh the postives.

Correct me so I can understand how it is that we all should come to view your server(s).

Listen. You have been bitching ALL game about people doing this and that. I told you in-game that you need to let me do MY job as the admin. THE ONLY reason I was kicking people was because they were BREAKING THE RULES. I am REALLY tired of your CONSTANT COMPLAINING. Well, if you ordered a server, you would of course be in control of it, as long as you payed the bill on time. You would be free to give remote admin access to anyone you chose, and admins on #2 are just that, admins on #2, not your server.

If you think an admin is abusing his rights, I suggest you PM Buliwyf, Chacal, or MMmmGood. But instead of the vague accusations and implications in your above post, you provide something specific, with a name, date, brief description of the situation and screenshots of the game at the time it happened.

If you don't provide these things, and don't have a solid case, I can say with all confidence that it won't go anywhere. I seriously doubt that Slayer has been doing anything wrong, so you better have a damned good case before you start accusing admins of misconduct.

I was in the server at the time of this incident and can say that the Admin, Mr. Slayer, WAS doing his job and was kicking the people that were obviously breaking the rules. My suggestion to you would be to hop on Teamspeak and participate on ECGN #2 w/TS running - as you will find it much easier to get your complaints/kick requests heard.

I have used no names, as I don't need to be banned because I blew the whistle on anyone. If you think you know what's up, it might be related to how you deal with adversity is my guess.

All I know is that things look a lot more decent and healthy when there are known admins in ecgn #2.

As for providing you with ss's or solid information on who's doing what, I am not even remotely interested. Let the parade keep marching on.

I am not interested in teamspeak, too much chatter.

Listen. I know you you may not like me or something. First off let me tell you that you should NEVER be afraid to report to someone that there is a problem with any players INCLUDING admins. I said earlier, I would NOT ban/kick someone UNLESS they are breaking rules! That is the policy among all ECGN admins.

I don't really care if you like me or not. Maybe I am more strict then some of the other admins. Fine.

You have always been a trouble maker an ECGNetwork.com #2. Other admins have had problems with you before and you have even been BANNED. I was not the one that banned you, but I'm sure whoever did it had a good reason.

If you expect me to just give up playing and freecam all day then you are sadly mistaken. I often give up my play time to admin the server or to deal with people like you. In fact, I am supposed to be playing BFV with some guys right now, it's just that I am nice enough to use my own time to try to get this through to you. And you know what? I don't have to do this! I don't have to explain anything to you! You were not banned, you are mad because you think I am not doing my job as an admin! And that is perfectly ok. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. As long as you don't rile up a shit storm while in game about the admins (Like you always do) then I won't kick/ban you. The forum is the right place for these things. Good job!

I am going to be very honest here. I don't like you. I don't like the problems you cause while in the server. I don't like you telling me what to do while I am playing. But that is just my opinion.

Bottom line: Follow the rules and you will not be kicked! I can not see everything. So when you try to bark out orders telling me to kick so-and-so it doesn't help. And FYI the only reason I am posting this is to help YOU. If you aren't going to follow the rules and are going to rant and rave about stupid shit while in-game, I guarantee you will be banned. You just lost any credibility you might have had with me.

You come in here and post like and individual with a legitimate grievance, but then you post again with this, saying you are not interested in detailing that grievance in a manner that will allow it to be dealt with.

So why did you even post in the first place if you didn't want to follow it through? You claim to be a mature adult, but these are not the actions of one. A mature adult with a case would be willing to follow it through for the good of the community as a whole.

Only two possible conclusions may be drawn from this:
1. You don't have a legitimate case that could stand up to scrutiny.

Hostile Scout, FYI I am on the server many hours a day. I live on the Pacific Coast and we seem to play at different times. I also play under different names at times. Please quit saying that I am rarely in game. If you have a problem with me or the server, please PM me and we will discuss it and see what we can come up with.
