So how's the weather in Florida?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Hurricanes must suck pretty bad. Wouldn't know around here, all we have to worry about are those pesky tornadoes that can drop without warning and whatnot.

tell you what. i won't complain about these storms, if you don't complain the next time the Mississippi river is carrying away your city. i guess that's the chance you take when u live near a river that floods.

I use to live in Naples, Florida, so I know the area. Seriously this area hasn't had a direct impact from a Hurricane since Donna in the early 1960s.

Lots of development since that time, which means the potential for damage is huge. Charley is now a Cat 4 hurricane with 140mph sustained winds. Also its spawning Tornadoes in the Orlando area.
