Vid card or monitor problem
I saw this on my way out the door this morning and didn't have time to investigate. It's gotta be the monitor or the vid card. What do you guys think?

Vid Card. The problem is showing up in your screenshot, so it's your video card.

I was kinda hoping it would be the card because I have 2 extra to try but not an extra monitor. I'm thinking of taking these steps
1. Fire it up and pray it went away
2. Reinstall drivers- reboot
3. Open the case and look at the card/take it out and put back in, spit and yell at it- reboot
4. Throw in a 128meg 9000 pro and turn down my settings:(
I think this is a valid reason for having to leave work early

I've seen this before, try reseating your video card, it looks like it isn't in the slot all the way. (Vibations from fans, heating up and cooling down will cause chip creep). With your computer off, open it up and push it into the slot, make sure your touching a metal part of your computer case or you might might fry it. Wait a minute and boot up and see if the problem has gone away.
When I was in high school taking PC repair classes the teacher would randomly *funk up* a someone's computer before class and we had to figure out what was wrong. I fixed what was wrong with mine but the screen kept doing what you see and I couldn't figure out what was wrong and I asked the instructor for help and he walked up looked at the screen and he started troubleshooting it, and several minutes later he fixed it and told me he accidently knocked the video card loose from the slot when he funked up anouther part. DOH!
