That's what makes MTV Awards show a WHOLE LOT BETTER then the grammy's and the oscar's because it is made for the younger audience of the world.

Wouldn't it be boring if all the awards shows were like the grammy's and oscars and all the other "VERY PROFESSIONAL" awards shows.

I love MTV awards shows. They are very entertaining compared to some others that are freaking boring as hell.

Thats right..... MTV is very intricately designed to cater to youth interests..... the reason that there is so much rap on the awards tonight...is because these rappers are selling a hella lot of records to people right now. Its very simple logic...when the backstreet boys and such were selling a lot of records.....THEY were the focus of the media.... right now its hip hop and rap.

Indeed. Some people like rap music and some don't. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it trash. I personally don't listen to it too much but do enjoy some from time to time. Listen to whatever you want to listen to - just don't come in here and bash rap because you, one person out of like 6 billion, doesn't like it. Sure some of it's ghetto, but people like that.

raise your hands if you thought the VMA's were going to be good anyway.... MTV has drastically changed from what the intended purpose was for... music television. Now its just a bunch of bullshit that corporate sponsers cram down our throats. No way in hell Jessica simpson should be popular, her sister either. You wanna hear the real music of today? go to the music choice channels on your cable and satelite. where metal is metal and pop is pop. You wont hear fucking that stupid ass aussie band Jet a billion times in a day.
