Windows XP Service Pack 2...BEWARE!

Sat Sep 04, 2004 11:14 pm

I realize this isn't directly related to wolf, so forgive me. Most of you who know me, know I've been on a rampage about SP2. God did it suck. It totally destroyed the function of Nmap, which I use on a regular basis.

Anyways, heres some links of articles of SP2 issues...read up on this before you install it. It may make you change your mind..

What is nmap?

I have had no problems with it. It has been a big help.

Nmap is a Network mapping program. tells you all the protocols and ports open in your network, along with all the nodes and operating systems. Quite a handy tool for configuring a corporate firewall.
