My grandfather is a Civil war enthusiast. He has Bayonets of all kind. He even has one from the French Revolution. Antique collector. I'll see if I can get some digital pics for posting.

How do you lose a large antique knife?
Anyhow, I have a few large daggers, a 6 inch butterfly, a 5 inch straitblade, and a variety of lockblades. This is the extent of my collection, not counting kitchen knices and my fishing knife.

No, it's here somewhere. I'm a pack-rat.

I've got a bayonet on my mosin-nagant.

I highly doubt that it's sharp. :)

My grandmother has a Hitler Youth Knife at her home, part of my grandfathers old collection. My grandfather also found a WW1 US bayonete in a french field when he was touring Europe just before WW2 broke out. We have that one here at the store, my father once had it in a shadow box but has since taken it out.

It is interesting as we have all of his old books, brochures, maps etc he bought while over there. The German ones show Hitler Youth popping up tents, and the girls playing some stupid game(piece of wood in the center with rope going to each girl and running in circles around it). He also had a post card with Hitler on it, but apparently my grandmother was disgusted by it and threw it away.
