Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Headphones part 2

Postby MMmmGood » Tue Sep 14, 2004 3:36 pm

Well my sennheisers got here about a week ago so i've had some time to play with em.

First off, they are wonderful!!

The noise-cancellation is great, I cant hear a single thing outside the headphones when I am playing. I had to turn down my bass cause it was cranked up due to my old headphones. The range of sound on these is great. I can hear things in a 360 degree radius ingame.

They are very comfortable as well. They adjust for headsizes and their is nice padding on the ears as well as on top of the headphones for the top of your head.

Well worth the $50

Let me knwo when you want to really, really, really improve music listening. There are some nice tube headphone amp kits out there.

I think that he is talking about game listening, not music listening.

But I would like to consider these phones...the ones that I have are good, but I am not as blown away as you seem to be!

Can somebody give me some good advice which headphone is 'okay' for me (to game and/or chat)?
I am thinking of buying one, but I really don't know what brand is good, and which not.
Thank you in advance :)

I went to radio shack and paid $4 for a headset. It's a step above cans of soup...

My headset was $8 at sears, i don't really see why one would pay over $20 for a headset. :/

do you squeak when you walk? people pay more than $20 because there is a definate difference in sound quality. i guarantee those $8 headsets sound like crap compared to these Sennheisers. some people don't mind paying more for better sound quality.
