its about time that i say my things about anipers.......damn, snipers should play until the wall blows and then be swiched to a soldier or Lt......any one agree?
believe me I love storming the beach but s.s. fingers 88 keeps hitting the flag

I see your point and to me, yes it does make sense on Allies. I was on an Allies team a while back and I think there were about 8 soldiers sniping on the beach, which really meant that we had 8 less players that were running for the documents and less people fighting in the basement to clear a path for the document runner. Sometimes a few extra players in the basement/stairways is all that is needed to help win the game.
But I can see why people go sniping, because it can be alot of fun.

maybe we should just limit the sniper rifle. ive seen more thank 8 before, once, i had over half the team sniping, about 10 players at the time. id say a limit would help a nice bit, but u shouldnt be able to snipe after say... the first 5 mins.

I think that a few snipers on sniper hill even after the early parts of the game can be helpful. It definitely can make Axis Lt's and Panzerfaust users honest - they can't sit too long in an open window. I think the point here though is that there are too many of them, and that is a valid point, but I think that there is definitely a plus to having a few of them on the beach for the whole game. God knows they aren't doing it to try and rack up points.

Alright, sniping is fun. I've done it a few times, and it's not that bad. But I don't remember an occasion when I was knocked out by a sniper, but I've got a bad memory.
If there's ever too many snipers on the beach, switch to medic. It's a great way to rack up points and poison kills. Just go out there and poison them all. When the retarded monotonous fools come back to the same spot, go poison them again.

Sniping after the wall is down = Spawn sniping. Period. How many times have you gotten shot at when spawning in the lower bunker? Is it necessary to have someone shooting at us from the small dug out in the right mountain. But then again it's part of the game. Poisoning them is fun too!:D

I'm gonna have to completely dissagree... Ok, panzers, i can understand would ruin a game if there were several panzers just blasting everything. Unlike the panzerfaust, Snipers actually require SKILL. SO, I personally thing that if you want to be a sniper (i love being a sniper), the BE A SNIPER. It's part of the game, suck it up and quit bitchin about it

I think everyone has heard my opinion on this matter , but I will briefly explain it again. By having a deficit of 4-or more players mired on the beach creates A MASSIVE deficit that is very difficult to overcome.
As an example , on a good run I will take out 3 to in some cases 7 Nazi's . Compared to a sniper who is mainly spawn camping ( and doesnt have the intelligence to realize, the hit he just got didnt do any damage becouse we have invunarability for 3 seconds) . So in other words he shooting at something that wont suffer its consequences. Now there are potential targets that occasionally come out to play , but its not as prevelant due to the massive amounts of sirstrikes . So if you cant do any harm to those inside , and rarely find a nice target outside .......then what on Gods green earth are you contributing to?.
If you took those 8 snipers and made 2 of them Luits doing consistant airstrikes , the balance of chance falls steeply to our side. Especially in a no TK enviroment.
I love sniping dont get me wrong , i think everyone here started doing that when the game came out .During the round one thing matters , the objective. Screw the scores(except the honors after the round, most kills etc) , screw all the fancy talk .When the clock hits zero and I know that we stopped that TPS report from getting to the radio room , it feels good and when Im an allies and we get our asses kicked becouse of one thing , selfishness . Clans do well for a reason ,they work together . Limiting the snipers to 2 would be a great solution for 2 reasons
1) Force newbies and other to pick up a assault rifle and learn to get close, mean and nasty . Its a skill they will be happy they were forced to learn.
2) Even out gameplay dramaticly ! , by having an extra 3 or 6 blokes in the basement would make my job a hell of alot easier. Im not the paper boy but Im sure as hell the truck thats gets him there .
By limiting airstrikes and snipers would force the real talents of players to shine and enhance the skill to those who need to learn.

When we say that it would be a + to the game, it doesnt mean that snipers are useless or only for newbie, sorry if your where hurt by thoes words, Z3dd1cuS (strange name). You are right by saying that a skilled player using a sniper (as well as any weapon or class) can be of great help to his team.
By the way, I just want to say that It makes me sorry to here some players use game points to determine if a weapon?class is good or bad. The first goal of this game shouldnt be teem winning?
When the americans want to bring back the docks to the radio room with 30 axis to make the trip a real hell, they bether have a lot of team players, and not to much points hunters if they want to be able to chear for victory.

Okay, snipers are even more valuable on beach, and even more so valuable when the allies have a deficit. You fall into a nice little nook, and when your teamates spawn and that pesky Panz/Lt pokes his head out to blast/A.S them, the sniper picks him off, and everyone lives...yet, nobody seems to recognize. I do know that I get pissed when I get panzed right from the forward spawn, but did you know that the reason you made it inside is because a SNIPER just gave you some breathing room???
