If your using Spybot Search & Destroy make sure you use the immunize option (so that the crap doesnt pop back up), also update the detection rules.

Thats the stuff it works good and it has updates. I also use Ad-aware.

Then its pain free porn cruisin. [not that I would know where to look on line]

I subscribe to alt.binaries.movies.divx, dvd, cd.image, dvdr and vcdz.

But movies.divx is shutting down... at least, the IRC channel is. :(

i use kazaa lite k++, a pirated version from before it was shut down. good download rates and no spyware in the client itself.

Like I said above the website http://www.thatcomputerguy.us is a good one. I go there all the time to help out with computer questions. They have people there dedicated to helping with spyware/adware/hijacked issues. They can hook you up and explain everything to you in easy terms.

I think that I,
cavalierlwt and others can along with the help of other users who hate spyware, spam etc. can handle my own machine's BS!

But now I can just sit on my ass and wait for the computer security director's office to come be and clean my machine!
