Here ya go ship.... Illinois at it's finest. i went to a buddy's house in Hinckley Illinois with the boys to watch the Bears get crushed. i took a pic on the way out.

My g/f/ ex-g/f lived out in Kankakee, in Bourbenais (sp?) and Ashkum, IL. When I got to her house i was like jesus, couldn't you've picked a more rural area to live in

lol, no offense taken. I live in a regular suburb in anytown USA. My buddy is about 45 mins away from me. As boring as you think it is, you can do cool stuff at places like his. You can have a HUGE bonfire and no one cares, he has a quad that he takes everywhere, can't do that in a metropolitan city. You can have the craziest party you want and your neighbors wont complain cuz they are about 500 yards away..etc....
If my wife wouldnt mind being far from her parents, I would move in a heartbeat. You can get a decent house on 10 acres for much less than I paid for my house.
I see how some people wouldn't like it though, if you like action/hopping bars/restaurants and having stuff close by then rural life definately is not for you. I'm a boring guy so this would be just fine for me, as long as I can get high speed internet of course.
