I don't understand peoples infatuation with flowers m'self

LOL... I've heard that. Shooting flowers is mostly a "seeing" exercise for me. Approaching color, different methods of discovery, etc. It isn't so much about the end result, but the process. Helps me in my design work and other photography.

As much as I like them, I wouldn't call them beautiful either.

I MUCH prefer earth tones (yes I know flowers are from the earth, and I also know pot leafs are earth tones). Greens, Browns, Greys (rock), water ect. I just don't personally care for bright colors, and most of all flowers.

Guess thats why I love the NW
