how bad would that suck to lose the WS? lol..."you've come so far and yet, you have so much farther to go...."

Its not about the series as much as they broke the curse. The Red Sox & Yankee series was the most important one of this season. Not the WS.

FUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK YAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BOSTON!!!!!!!

I'd like to see your team play in a division where one team can out-spend the nearest competitor by $60 million...and not even bat an eye.

EVERYBODY SING

Tessie is the Royal Rooters rally cry
Tessie is the song they always sung
Tessie echoed April through October nights
After serenading Stahl, Dineen and Young
Tessie is a maiden with the sparkling eyes
Tessie is a maiden with the love
She doesn't know the meaning of her sight
She's got a comment full of love
And sometimes when the game is on the line
Tessie always carried them away
Up the road from Third Base to Huntington
The boys will always sing and sway

Two! Three! Four!

Tessie, Nuff Ced McGreevy shouted
We're not here to mess around
Boston, you know we love you madly
Hear the crowd roar to your sound
Don't blame us if we ever doubt you
You know we couldn't live without you
Tessie, you are the only, only, only

The Rooters showed up at the Grounds one day
They found their seats had all been sold
McGreevy led the charge into the park
Stormed the gates and put the game on hold
The Rooters gave the other team a dreadful fright
Boston's tenth man could not be wrong
Up from Third Base to Huntington
They sang another victory song

Two! Three! Four!

Tessie, Nuff Ced McGreevy shouted
We're not here to mess around
Boston, you know we love you madly
Hear the crowd roar to your sound
Don't blame us if we ever doubt you
You know we couldn't live without you
Tessie, you are the only, only, only

Don't blame us if we ever doubt you
You know we couldn't live without you
Boston, you are the only, only, only
Don't blame us if we ever doubt you
You know we couldn't live without you
Red Sox, you are the only, only, only

The so called "Curse" was that the Red Sox couldnt win World Series after Babe went to NY.

They went to the World Series since Babe left, but never won.

So if Bahston doesn't win the WS, the Curse is still there.

That said, I wanted Boston to win and break A-Rod's greedy little heart! Fuck him!

Hope they beat Houston in the World Series....Card's just cant pull it outta their ass.

He's not alone. I've been a fan all my life. I still have my Reggie Jackson little league bat and Thurmon Munson jersey.

I will be the first Yankee fan here to say it was a good series.

Roger that!

However, the curse isn't broken yet :)

Actually, the most fitting way for the so called 'curse' to end would be for the Sox to beat the Cardinals since St. Louis won 2 of the WS that the Red Sox have played in since 1918. That being said, I'd like to see Houston make it so that whomever won it would be (effectively) their first time.

ALCS hat $25

ALCS shirt $30

World Series tickets on Ebay $500

The expression on Jeeters face..... priceless.

Any individual who believes in any "curse" is sadly misinformed, and grossly under-educated.

If you don't understand that, I'd have Santa Claus deliver a memo to you personally to explain the concept to you using very small words, but you'd be waiting an awfully long time.

On a serious note;

The longer any team dominates another, or wins over and over the more poignant it is when they eventually lose.

When the Patriots finally lose this season (which will happen) the other team will whoop it up like it was a Super Bowl win, and the sports media will play it up like the Pats are a hopeless wreck.

It's typical human nature for this, so any Yankees fan should realize this and just take defeat with humility.

P.S. I think Jeter should be the highest paid player in the league. He's a winner. A-Rod's a loser, as is Nomar.

Almost spit up my cheerios, readng that one.

People like me hate the Yankees because of 1 thing. Jealousy. i wish my White Sox could buy any player they want.

Is it Yankees fans fault that Steiny has the sweetest cable deal ever so he has 100's of millions to spend? No.

Is it Yankees fans fault that MLB has no sack to make a hard cap like NBA and NFL.. no.

Let's no forget I think Boston has the 2nd highest payroll also. They are almost as bad as the Yanks, but since they always blow it, people feel sorry for them because they play the Yanks and lose.

Lets take a look at all the players BAAAASTON bought also.

Damon - from the Royals
Ramirez - from the tribe
Ortiz - From Minnesota
Schilling - from Arizona

SO I'm not asying that Boston is this innocent little small market team or anything I mean let's get real. But I just can't stand Jeter and his cockiness, same with Torre. Shef is on roids and AROD trying to play dumb when he knows he should have grabbed his sack and plowed the guy over in game 6 is all just sickening...... GO HOUSTON!!!!!
