What is a good pair of headphones for gaming?

I'm using Labtech Digital, which seem to be of reasonable quality. Except the length of chord. It's about 3 feet. Which means I have to turn my computer around backwards and play with a chord acting like a garrot while I play.

Yes, I know they sell extension chords. That's not the point. The point is.... what drooling, gibbering, lobotomized, catatonic, cross-eyed dim-wit design team would ship a product like head-phones with only a THREE FOOT CHORD???

They do have some Sennheisers at Best Buy.

If you have gift certificates there, than I would suggest you go into the store and try a few pairs out from all manafacturers and then make a decision.

When it comes to anything you're gonna put on your ears and head and wear for a while, comfort and sound go hand and hand.

Try before you buy bro.

Time to look at my CURRENT headphone situation.

These are my current sony headphones. They do not have the padding protection for your ears anymore, so I taped some napkins on the ends. Ghetto to the max!

plantronics dsp-500s are real nice, they have at newegg for lke 70 bucks, super comfortable and great sound, also comes with digital sound board or something
