Man have we been waiting for San Andreas, I cant wait till it comes out on the 25. What I have been wishing is that they would come out with a multiplayer online Grand Theft Auto. This would be the ultamint game if they did it right 
They would have many game rooms and servers...they would have head-phones much like Socom. They would also have gangs and stuff, like the clans we have in Wolfenstein and other games. There would be aton of missions for teams to do together. There would also be like caos missions and death matches 
. Wow this game could get very interesting and fun very quikely

And as usual the PC players will have to wait a year for the PC port to come out...Happened with III, Vice City...and probably with San Andreas.

Some sites have it listed for the 25th, but its being released on the 26th. I've heard rumors of a multiplayer mode involving gang memebers and driving, so that a second player can take control of people in your car. Not sure if this is so.
The biggests new features are robbin' houses, swiming, skydiving(possibly), Spitfires!, BMX, and possible skateboards, RPG elements(increasing staminia by running and swimming, more time you shoot a gun the better rating you get for that gun, fight moves and training like true crimes), Manhunt Sneak Modes(used for missions and robbing houses, or just sneaking around, you get a mask, a couple different kinds with different rating, that puts you into a Metal Gear type mode were you can perform silent and not so silent kills), HUGE Soundtrack(its being said that this will bring in a new era of games and music merging), and Car mods(Bodykits, layered paintjobs, sound systems, NOX)
Oh and Spray Paint to tag buildings up.
If you havnt check'd out the scale of this game its simply amazing, easily compairable to some MMORPG's in size. The detail givin to all of the area's is even more impressive, esp San Fran and Las Vegas mockups.
The military base in game is an aircraft carrier, so there is a good chance we will see some deadly aircraft and helicopters aside from the spitfire.

This game looks amazing. But I have yet to beat Vice City! 
Lunatic is right, a multiplayer mode would be awesome. I have thought about that before.

"Crime online" is in the works right now, so I've heard. Its supposed to me the mmo for the GTA series. Where you can start your own gangs and chop shops, mobs or whatever.

God, I love GTAs....... I play them on x-box but I think a multiplayer version for computers would be AWESOME!:D

I called my local EB games yesterday, and they said they had only enough for the preorders, so I'd have to wait till tomorrow. So I called gamestop, and apparently there was a huge line, but they let me do a pre-order over the phone. So I was able to pick it up yesterday . So far I'm loving it. I like the new style of control, you can crouch and roll to avoid gun fire, and when you target someone, the target indicatior sort of serves as a life bar. You can manually aim at things like....gas tanks, and also you can strafe while your firing. I just finished the mission titled Sweet's Girl, and in that mission is the first time you actually have to get out of your car and shoot people up. The game says it supports 1-2 players, but I am clueless to how a second player could get involved.

Apparently, when you have a second controller plugged in, there should be little 2 player icons throughout the game world that enable little co-op mini missions like kill frenzies etc.
Personally, Ill just wait for this game to hit the pc if I buy it at all. I wasn't that thrilled with Vice City, no matter how many little changes they do with the new one it's still going to be more of the same.

Figures. Out of the 20 or so video game sellers in this city, I have to preorder at the one that for some reason or another didn't get their shipment today. WTF.
