Ok I just wanted to chime in that I grew up in Sheridan, Wy. What a waste of a childhood.

My friend was a stay at home dad for 2 years. He loved it and his daughter loved it. What is best for the kids is all that matters really.

Wy. is nice enough really, not enough people to get in the way - problem is that there is 2 mo. of bad sledding every year. Definetly no chance to ski in July and Aug. And that wind. Wow. We are on the border and the wind just kiks your ass sometimes when its cold. Of course too now its up to the 40's-50's day and teens at night here. thaw then freeze + add the idiot factor [example: displaced Calfornian's] = fun fun fun btw I live about 35 mi from a road that really is only open about 2 mos. out of the year. It gets snowed in about Labor day and doesn't thaw until mid June.
