DAMN! I know its from early October but I just found it and i think its wonderful!

This is what industry (American and otherwise) should base their strategy around.

Imagine! (no, not the John Lennon song) if companies actually even considered taking their customers best interests at heart!

Quick point here. That was THG as in Tom's Hardware Guide. Not THC!

Just thought I'd point that out to avoid any problems for certain members of our gaming community (AHEM.... YADAD!)

tom's hardware = biased, often times incorrect, reviews. I never have and never will trust them.

http://techreport.com , http://www.anandtech.com, http://www.hardocp.com (although they are sometimes skewed, too) are all much better sources, IMO.

Nevertheless, manufacturers rushing reviewers is an old problem, and as unsavory as tweaking their products for benchmarks. It's refreshing that one of them took a stand.
