God I love the playoffs!

I can see the merits of 'best of' series used in most sports (the best team generally wins), but man o' man you gotta love the drama of NFL playoffs. Bring your 'A' game or go home and watch the winners play next week....no mercy. I love the way as the game goes, the intensity and reality of it picks up. First it's 'we better score soon' to 'we better score this drive' to 'we better get 3 yards on this play or the season is over'. The shock that sets in as team's whole season comes down to a moment, then boom! it's over.
My beloved Patriots are probably going to get killed by the Colts, at this point I can live with that. I'm going to really miss football on Sundays though, especially going from the intensity of playoffs/Superbowl, to the pathetic Pro-Bowl (kinda reminds me of having a girl break up with you but throws you one last roll in the hay), and then one Sunday afternoon you flip on TV and see...bowling.

Yeah man, you think the Colts have something for the Pats?
It will be interesting that if Pats lose, they will need to build a stadium just for Mannings head.

But right now we all have to focus on the Jets-Steelers game, kinda sucks cause i like both teams, next week is going to be high-intensity, both teams really deserve it

With the Pat's depleted secondary, I think Peyton might just set playoff records that game. People don't realize how bad, how incredibly bad the Pat's secondary situation is. Their first and second string players are out, except for Rodney Harrison. Even their third string secondary players are playing somewhat injured. Troy Brown has to play CB, Don Davis (OLB) has to play some Safety in the nickel package, they have to move Eugene Wilson from Safety to CB, etc.
It's actually insane that they have won any games with their amateur secondary. Heck, Earthwind Moreland sat out last year after getting cut by both NFL Europe and Canadian football league. He actually played his first game with Pats on a Sunday after getting hired on the previous Saturday.

My damn Bills had to blow the last game of the regular season after winning 6 straight. All that to miss the playoffs. :(

Yeah, I was starting to 'billieve' too. Bledsoe is a great guy, but in the end he never learns, he never get's past his achilles heel: holding the ball too long, holding it in a vulnerable way, or making flat out bad decisions at the most important moments. When Tom Brady first took over here in NE, I wasn't a believer at first (I hadn't really seen any of the games, just the postgame stats). I finally got to watch during the playoffs. When Brady got injured in the AFC championship vs Pittsburg, I was sort of thrilled to see Drew come back in the game, and he immediately hit a sweet TD pass. Then next series, he gets sacked and tries to throw the ball behind his back as he's going down, nearly got picked right there. At that moment, I finally accepted that Drew was never going to get any better. He does some great things to move you forward, but in the end he'll break your heart.

I thought the Randy Moss 'salute' to GB was pretty low. That guy can be such an asshole, it's a shame he's like that. His talent is really beyond belief, he doesn't need that trash. With his abilities and at least normal behavior he could have so much more in the way of endorsements as well as a much higher public perception of him. He'll regret it when football is over and he needs to figure out how to get an income that is at least a reasonable fraction of his playing days income.
That being said, Jesus he's good! Very few, if any, can judge the long ball and make adjustments to get right under it like he does. Culpepper is a great QB, he really is, but Randy Moss will make your long bombs about ten times more succesful (and pretty) then any other WR I've ever seen. He just knows how to make that arc finish right in his hands, at full stride no less!

That last touchdown showed it I think, he was limping so badly it hurt to watch and he still managed to make the brag and get in.

I still think running over the metermaid was his finest hour. With the blunt in the ashtray and all.

Too bad we got into the playoffs though, we really did not deserve it.

I agree Saynt...a team like MN backs into the playoffs loosing, and a team with real character like the Panthers end up missing by a small margin. The way Carolina came back from a 1-7 start and 12 guys on IR is just increadable. That being said....

GO STEELERS!!! :)
