clans

Well everyone has a right to there own opinion but making a point which because a clan doesn't have a server they're not worth a crap is pretty vague. Technically we are a new clan so we aren't there yet. I don't see the RS guys playing on there own server anyway. There ass is glued to ECGN (like everyone else). Hopefully, we will be. Until then, all of you *haters out there be patient and quit acting... whats the word I'm looking for Jealous...?

On a semantic basis Ali3n are the only ones of the clans mentioned who compete in twl for rtcw so that raher gives them the edge. As far as servers go we discussed getting one but ruled it out because, remembering how many people played on the s.s server, it seemed a bit of a waste of money. |RS| is definately the most organised clan but they're really an et clan: Less than half their players play wolf now.

I on the other hand am gonna have to say =TAO= because they are a really nice bunch of guys and have a server and a website You don't see them all that often though because they're server is popular enough that they don't need to play on the beach all the time.

Definitely |RS|. They have their own servers, sites, TS servers and uber skilled players, don't mess with them.

wait a minute, im not flaming "clans" that dont have these things. i was in one of these groups, so i have a bit of hindsight. we were never accepted as a "clan" though until we started working on these items. |RS| doesnt compete at the moment because no one wants to rally a team as of yet, but we do scrimm comp clans. yes we play et 90% of the time but we dont forget from the "one map" server we came from. the only difference is i dont remember so much whining. maybe im wrong, my memory is shot. and there are plans of starting up a server for those |RS| that play wolf, in a month or two. but im sure there will be customs besides beach thrown in the rotations.

But I agree with you. |RS| is really the only 'real clan' here. Everybody can put a tag before his name (greetings to <h@x>LetsGoYankees), get some friends and create a little site, but they are no 'real clans'. At this point |RS| wins. Only one thing is confusing. Every clan has at least one 'skilled' player. For example HotGaradge in Al!3n, Cyborg in -tt-, Hunter in -[CT]- etc. But who is that in |RS|? I'm sure you have one, but not here at ECGN.

that is completly correct sir. and i dont know what you consider a good player. hs ratios and kill/death ratios mean nothing to me. that doesnt mean he is a good player just a good shot. too me it is much more important for a teammate to cover and advise of chokepoints, medic revives, fo gives out ammo and so on and so on. the thing about ET is that it is structured for that team dynamic more so than wolf.

It's Bubba's fault. He left S.S. and three weeks later S.S. lost 10 guys (maybe more). I remember when everyone asked Bubba to join S.S. and he made all the 'you can join for a b/j' jokes. And now? Long time I've seen someone asking to join |RS|...

@Radram: Again right, but someone with good hs or kill/death ratios + the abilities you enumerated, is much more dangerous. And in a 6 vs 6 scrim it's nothing worth to have noobs in a team giving medpacks/ammo and yelling 'incoming' if they can't even hit water if they fell from a boat.

the s.s. were awesome, but they lost their steam way before RS broke off. the s.s. now are nothing of what they were and will never be again. most of the people that made s.s. what it was left or are in RS. belive me when i say we dont want to be what s.s. is or was, we have our own thing going on, and dont have to imitate.
of course it wouldnt be imitating since we were the ones that made s.s. what it was to begin with.
