They should've traded him after his corked bat incident.... would've got more for him too. He's the only player in MLB to have his BA HR and RBI go down 3 years in a row... according to ESPN. I read that at the bar after having only one drink so im pretty sure im accurate.

I'm suprised someone was even interested in him with that ridiculous contract. Baseball has quite a few bad contracts where aging all-stars in decline make most of their money in the final years of their contract when they are past their prime and declining in production.
But I wonder why this doesn't apply to Barry Bonds.

No I think your talking about the "football" over in europe. Ya know, the one where they act like they got shot by a cannon if a player runs by them too close. The 90 minute 0-0 ties...opps "draws" that are so thrilling to watch. Guess thats why there is so much singing and flares going on in the stands...they're so freaking bored watching panzies run around the field...opps "pitch". Lets roll around on the "pitch" like a guy that just got blasted by a landmine for 5 minutes, get carried off on a strecher, only to be running around 30 secs later cause the guy didnt get a card...opps "booked".
