Randy Moss, where's he going?

I just had a horrible thought: what if the Colts wound up with Randy Moss? That would be insane!
In the interest of maintaining parity, The NFL would have to make a new rule: Payton Manning has to drink a shot after every completed pass.
:P

Two words: salary cap

65 words:
Randy Moss is definately taking a pay cut, whether he likes it or not. Plus, maybe the Colts will go the Patriot's route, and have some of their high paid stars take pay cuts so they might have a better chance to get to the SuperBowl. Just a thought, but I too doubt Moss is going to Colts, it's just a fun 'what if' scenario.

Randy Moss isn't taking no where near that much of a pay cut. The Colts signed Manning and Harrison to big contarcts. I beleive Edgerrin James is a free agent, adn they might have trouble signing him.

The Colts pretty much dropped their load (and not too wisely) for last year's run. They threw the baby out with the bath-water by locking themselves into that contract with Manning.

They need more serious thinking about their team's structure to compete long term.

That being said, if they won more regular season games and had a home field advantage in the playoffs (and a little luck playing other dome teams), there may not be ANY team that could beat them.

Looks like I might actually root for the Cowboys this year! Early rumor is that Bledsoe is going there. I wouldn't trade Tom Brady for Bledsoe, but I would love to see Drew go out on some kind of high note. He was a good guy and I hate to see him doing so badly.
As for the Colts, they need to think like the Pats: Do you want the most money, or do you want a SuperBowl ring. Let Manning, James, and about 5 other players on that team take some serious pay cuts, bring on board some more talent (especially on the defense) and they really should be a lock for the SuperBowl.
