April Fools Day Today

Fri Apr 01, 2005 5:05 pm

Today is one of my favourite days to pull pranks. Especially at work since the people at my work are easy going.
I put clear gel deodarant on the phones and the sides of the mouse. I then removed the mouse balls and put clear tape over keyholes. I also salted someones drink and put mineral oil (odorless and tasteless) in someones food. Later i plan on putting shoe polish on a roommates phone and calling him. Childish but funny.

So what pranks did u people do or have done on u?

The worst and yet also possibly the funniest I have seen was a guy who stretched cling film over all the toilets so when you went to take a piss it jumped back at you. Funny so long as you weren't the one that got caught out :)

Wake your parents up early by plugging in a vacuum and putting it under their bed. Set a timer on the plug so it will turn on at 3am. Thats what I did, they woke up early today... :D

told everyone of my sales reps that my company was going to go a whole new direction in selling, and I told them at the end of our shift that they had to clean out their desks and be on their way, I told them at 6:00 pm, shift ends at 8:00, so about 7:50 almost everyone had everything cleaned out, I told them I would have a final meeting at about 5 to 8:00 to talk about their final benefits, and at 7:55, I told them that it was April fools and they spent about a half hour to bring all their stuff back in, lets just say they weren't to pleased, but the good news is that all got about a half hour of OT lol

Oh man, that's harsh.
My company just recently announced it was closing (no April fools on this one) and moving everything out to Thailand. Don't worry folks, everything will be great, all the economists keep telling us that for every one job outsourced overseas, two new jobs are created domestically.

Just call me Mr.Happy

Look at it this way, I haven't had time to play BF1942 much in the last year. I should be 'available' to play when BF2 comes out!

I figure the way things are going, eventually most decent paying jobs will be outsourced, first to India, then China. After a while, we'll be a third world country. People from other countries will come visit us to see the spectacle for themselves, check out our landmarks (Statue of Liberty, Grand Canyon, etc). Dirty, starving children will try sell postcards, little plastic Statue of Liberty replicas. We'll be like a caucasion Mexico. We'll sneak across the Canadian border as illegal aliens and get jobs as landscapers and migrant farm workers, working for less than the minimum wage.
