Photo editing help

Does anyone know how to turn a real-life picture into a black and white silhouette-type image? I don't have photoshop, just paint shop pro.

I know nothing of PSP, I use Photoshop.
Basically, you could change image mode to grayscale, then play with contrast, or change to bitmap using a 50% treshold.

Thanks Chacal. Grayscale gets it close to where it needs to be. I think its going to require meticulous effort to get it where I want it. I really appreciate the help. The first time I see you in BF2 I'll just stare at you and let you kill me. Haha... Laissez les bon temps roulez!
