Computer Problems - It's got a mind of it's own! I SWEAR, READ :P

Okay, well... Lately my keyboard has just stopped working randomly. Or it won't work on the letters I try to press sometimes. What the hell is going on.

Now it just stops working completely for a looong time. Then starts up again.

Now my mouse has been taking on a mind of it's own. It starts moving when I don't want it to. Then it stops working, right now it's not working at all. No matter what I do. I even tried another mouse, the one with a ball in it, didn't work at all.

Now the light is on on the mouse, but it still won't work.

And how's this...

Everytime I try to connect the cable from the cable modem into the USB port on the computer, the surge protector's "grounded" light comes on.

What is going on!! I have to control the cursor with the numberpad. And I can barely type or anything... :(

I tried cleaning under ALL the keys on the keyboard.
Checked the wires.
Restarted.
Redid all the wires.
Took some plugs and put them into other electrical sockets.

I tried everything. :( I'm going to try to find one on eBay... I have to wait until I get paid though. Augh!

Oh yeah, since I'm looking into getting a new mouse and keyboard.. I haven't bought a new one in years, of either.

What's a good kind to get? Are wireless annoying? Do they run on batteries? What's a good gaming mouse. What's a good reliable keyboard.

Go ahead, recommend a few.. :o Nooowww!! :P

Sounds like we have the same keyboard. :D

Yeah, don't get a wireless anything. Unless you like having the batteries die at crucial moments.

Try one of those Zboard keyboards.

As for a mouse go for an optic with lots of buttons. :P Or if you have cash to burn why not try this.
