Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

No.. just MP3's.. and maybe a few games... I download stuff I'm causually interested in, but wouldn't spend the cash on. If it's good I'll buy a copy. If I play it for 30 minutes or less, I usually just delete it.

IMHO we need to support good games, bands, software, etc. If we don't support the good stuff, no one will continue to publish it.

BTW. I like to see movies on the big screen and if it's really good, then I'll buy the DVD. There's no need to waste my time downloading crappy AVI's.

movie prices here have gotten completely rediculous... 8 bucks to see a flick? no wonder Ep 3 made as much dough as it did.

When it reaches 10 bucks i draw the line and wait for the DVD... might as well put together a decent H/T system with the money you save by not going to the theater.

That is because you are not thinking.

You really think the rich guy loses money?

No, he cuts the loss by firing employees.

You are really hurting hard working people, most with families to feed. Good job for you, pat yourself on the back.

It doesn't even matter, it is illegal, and I had really wished this would not become the thread this became, with people making up bullshit reasons for why it is ok to d/l it in the first place.
