The policticians in New York State, who didn't support it, gave up New York Cities chances. I was very glad that London got it, and not Paris. This is kind of a consulation prize for New York City.

It would be crazy around here with the Olympics. The Belmont stakes shut down our town.. I can only imagine what the Olympics would do :P

It has been proven, that the city that holds the olympics neverfully recovers the debt from it. After the costs of building a colesium, moving teams around, and other olympic type budgets, after tourism you will still owe more than 4 million before of the olympics. :)
