Lance still 2:46 on top, after Stage 17. Two more stages, then the individual time trial which Lance is great at...then its sprinting down the Chaunce e' Leise (major spelling). I believe the final stage will be on TV. Looks like barring any falls or injuries, Lance will leave the sport as the best cyclist in its history.

Hes won the time trials, and his seventh Tour de France! Beating Jan Ulrich by :22 seconds he increased his overall lead to 4:40 and the last stage is ceremonial, where Lance will maintain his lead. A great career and story. It will be aired on TV tomorow.

He's won! I woke up at 7:30 today to watch teh race on OLN, a great victory, and a career to say the least. I don't think that anyone will ever do what he has done, at least not for a very long time.

Doubly incredible because of the cancer. No one will top this it has more to do with heart than fitness and he just never seems to quit.
