GIM has some really nice features. One of the best media sharing mods in the IM field. Wonder however, if the will release the P2P features found in some alphas?

I have a gmail account but rarely check it since most people I know are already familiar with the 400 other email accounts I have. Even after using gmail, I guess I don't understand what the hub-bub is. What's the advantage to using it over anything else (like say, an account through an ISP that I use Outlook with)?

Anyone try out GoogleTalk yet? Any plusses or minuses compared to AIM or any other messenger? Hell, for voice chat I've been using Skype or a personal TS server with my gamer buds. Google's any better for one-on-one voice chat?
