Help Me No Wolf 8-(

Ok guys i got a newb question when i click on a server it goes to awaiting gamestate and everything, but then it goes to ecgn's loading page it gets almost done with like an inch to go and it just stops waits for a sec or 2 then it says server d/c for unknown reason?:violin: HELP!:tard:

A lot of servers don't accept the default name WolfPlayer and they kick you right away, sometimes with a helpful error message (bad disallowed name) sometime with a generic message (disconnected for unknown reasons). Try this:

Search main\ , \shub and \shrubmod directories .cfg files and make sure all the following entries match:

cg_currentSelectedPlayerName "yourname"
cg_selectedPlayerName "yourname"
seta name "yourname"

I can't guarantee this fix, but I have the same problem and it fixed it for me.

This is what you do. Go to the top of the Empire State Building and give the computer a heave. Just so you know your computer makes it down to the bottom, I suggest you take a jump with it. Write back if this still doesn't fix your problem.
