Thank you. Although our views on this video are different, it doesn't mean Im going to make personal attacks towards you. I keep on topic and wont flame anyone. But, hear me out. What happened in this thread is the MAIN reason political threads aren't allowed here.

CodeRed, maybe it wasn't a personal attack but in my eyes it was not called for. What does his name have to do with this thread. If you dont like his name, PM him or start a new thread about why you don't like his name :P .

There are people out there who will live their lives with a prejudice towards Muslim and middle eastern people because of what a few people did on 9/11. Muslims are not terrorists. Anyone can be a terrorist. If your going to have racist/prejudice feelings towards that group of people because of 9/11 your just as ignorant as the terrorists themselves.

I am glad you use that name, and support you for the reasons you use the name. People are too narrow minded.

I should also add, no complaint were made about his name until now. They were made because they couldn't find any other way to change his views and opinions in this thread. He has the right to believe what he wants, as do I.

I guess because Im younger I've been brought up in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic (whatever you want to call it) society and city.

Fine. I will agree to disagree then.
I will say that i am one of the least racist/prejudiced people you could meet. Everyone has a right to be equal in my eyes.
If praiseallah's name is purely for what he stated then that is fine. He is allowed that. But as soneone else posted, and i may also agree, that is could also be to incite a response. Which it did.
Does the forum rule, "no religous/politcal posts" also apply to religous/political themed names? hmmm.

Back on topic, the woman has every right to believe she should be treated equally and fairly. She loses that right when she breaks the law. Resisting arrest is one of those laws.

You have to back this up and square your thinking away with basic common sense. If you let yourself or for unavoidable reasons end up in a situation where you are at odds with a force stronger than yourself the consequences can be quite detrimental to your well being. To avoid being in that situation she should have done whatever necessary to avert it, she chose not to. I cannot cast the situation in any truer light than that.

Now what we have here is ... failure to communicate. Some woman you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week. Which is the way she wants it. Well, she gets it. I don't like it anymore than you men.

I have had my share of run in's wih cops when I was in college, so I don't really care for them very much. Most of them are bullys with a badge. However, I always obeyed their commands because they are the Authorities.

With that said, I have met some that are nice and I have friends who are cops and I have a great deal of respect for what they do.

Lastly, I am going to LAUGH MY ASS OFF the day I see the vid clip of PraiseAllah getting tazed for not obeying an officer!

I love it. She wouldnt do what the officers wanted, and was being very bitchy. She should have got out of the car and shut her mouth until she talked to her lawyer. I always enjoy laughing at the misfortune of others when it comes to stupidity. Taze all women who act like this.

I firmly disagree that the officer was in any danger whatsoever. There was no weapon on her and she was not threatening the officers. She was being threatened by the one officer.

In fact, it is that officer who escalated the whole situation from mild to severe. She was calm and she was talking to them trying to explain her side of the story when he came over with a clear intent. I think he caused the situation instead of doing as he should have done which is defuse a potentially (at that point) hostile situation.

I agree with everything you said, totally.

Poor PraiseAllah, he bravely took up an unpopular position and defended it to the end :P
I would guess that if he does get pulled over, he won't wind up getting tasered, because after this long contentious thread, he's (along with most of us) has given the whole issue of police procedures plenty of thought.

i hope to see more women getting tasered on the internet. People have this mis-conception that women shouldn't face as harsh a sentance or physical beat down as men do, which is complete bullshit because the law applies to everyone. The law applies to everyone and so should the punishment.
