This game certainly LOOKS cool from the screens I've seen you guys post elsewhere. But, all I hear is "I have level 30 gunnery crew" or "I just outfitted 2 torpedo tubes that can launch a thousand torpedos per turn." My question is: do you actually fight anything? Is this a simulation of a shipyard and that's it? I was considering trying it out, but I have yet to hear anyone say anything about blowing other guys up or winning (or losing) battles, etc.

Oh ya, you fight a lot. They are easy to arrange and finish pretty quickly.

I don't talk about winning because I usually don't. Right now I am pretty much the smallest lowest level boat in the big battles. Just staying alive is a challenge.

I've tried this a couple of times...Hang back with a cruiser or group of ships. Wait until the big boys engage each other and then swoop in for the assist.

GO straight from the spawn, when you hear "Enemy boat detetced" or something like that, kick it into overheat mode and you will 80% of the time not get hit by torps.

Ships that are good to hunt are fubuki, if you get point blank you are to close for the torps to arm and fubuki ussualy carry only torps.

I went with the Z31 instead of SP, I am disapointed, I want the SP now. Z31 sucks ASS

The Z52 remodel is supposed to be a pretty good ship; at least that's what I've heard.

Ooh... I got my Dual 4.00 inch guns... The turrets weigh a ton but they are very very nice... Big damage, good range, good accuracy.

I recently started playin that, my guys r lvl 16 and i have a England O class with 4 2 barrel 4" guns and a 23" 3 torp launcher. (not sure about size of torp launcher thats just a guess)

Everyone postur Navyfield names here so we can find each other online, mine alofwar and i play on seattle.
