i just talked to a buddy of mine in houston. He says he cant leave because there is no gas any where around him. Its taking roughly 30hrs to get to dallas and about 6 hours to leave the city. Well since he cant leave, he might as well scalp the gas he has for about 50 bucks a gallon.

I didn't see many people driving north yesterday when I was headed south to Austin. Some people were saying hurricane force winds might make it to Austin. It might sound sick, but I'm looking forward to seeing what a hurricane is all about. Wouldn't want to find out from Houston or Galveston though.
If I am correct the Hurricane season starts in June and ends in late November. I cannot believe that this is happening. I have friends in Houston and I used to live in Austin. I do think Global warming is to blame ofcourse other idiots want to say that it's not the case. That is a whole 'nother topic.
Anyway I did notice that they did mention some of the earths vulnerability points and New York City was listed as one of them along with Long Island, New England, Texas, Houston, Galveston, Southern Fla, Florida Keys, Tampa, and New Orleans...ofcourse this is all in the future.

You are nuts!:P
Funny name btw...rofl!
Haha take some live screenage from Austin. I left there about a year ago...I'm wondering how has it changed? How's 6th street?

Do you ever see the real world cast down there? Since they are filming in Austin? I love Austin...wouldn't mind going back there as well. Ofcourse I got pretty sick of it while I was there.

Lots of weird statements here...first
Lunatic...i don't know why your saying that it won't go much higher than $3.00, the gas here, is almost always the lowest in the nation and its at $3.11. When the hurricane hits if it does equal damage to Katrina, it will be up to $4.00 im sure.
Secondly- Global Warming is a muth.
Praise Allah- This isn't the second hurriance at category 5...Katrina was only category 4.

It goes down as being a 4 because it hit as a category 4. That's why there have only been 3 hurricanes to hit hte US at category 5. Rita is now a category 4 as well.

I read on NOAAs page that we've never had two Cat 4s or 5s hit land in the same season. Every record is bound to be broken I guess.
