Rodney Harrison out for the season, and it wouldn't surprise me if Offensive Lineman Matt Light will miss most if not all of the season (left with a cast on his leg)
Harrison tore his ACL, and there's reports that say he tore his MCL and PCL (I hadn't even heard of a PCL before). Sounds like basically every ligament in his knee tore. This doesn not bode well for the Pats.
San Diego's coach paid them a nice compliment though, he said that historically injuries didn't matter to the Patriots and that their system is able to use players like interchangible parts.
Anyone see Parcells news conference? That guy is easily the funniest coach in the NFL, gives the best sound bites. Someone asked about his legendary curfews, and if players ever broke the curfew, He replied "They can if they don't mind paying the $18,000 fine, and if they think it's worth $18,000, then take me too"

Since he's played for the Pats I haven't seen anthing dirty about him, just a few instances of poor sportsmanship. Maybe we have a different interpretation of dirty. I consider dirty to be someone who chop blocks, leg whips, illegal hits to the knees, spearing (leading a tackle with the helmet) only if it happens repeatedly to the point where it's blatant and obvious that a player is doing it purposely. I can't say I've seen that, but then again I never followed his career before he came to the Pats.

when playing for the chiefs in '99 he's the guy who took out Trent Green's knees in the last game of preseason... which led to Kurt Warner igniting the "greatest show on turf" and the Rams 1st and only superbowl. Dirty move which led to some awesome games.

See, Harrison's a good guy. Thanks to him, you guys got a Superbowl! 
Now the guy you should hate is Mo Lewis, formerly of the Jets. He ruined things for the Rams, the Raiders, the Steelers, the Colts, the Panthers, and the Eagles. He's the one that knocked Bledsoe out the game and caused the Pats to start Tom Brady. If it weren't for that, Brady would be either riding the bench or maybe even cut by now. And the Pats probably would have been cellar dwellars for the last few years.

Actually Rodney was playing for the Chargers at the time...I thought perhaps you might want to see what Trent Green thinks of the whole thing....

Rodney gives 100% (thats right not 110%, not 120%, because the most you can give is 100%, please people pay attention in math class) and when you are on the edge of maximum things can and do go awry. I don't believe he intentionally tries to permanantly injure other competitors. I for one, have always respected Rodney for his work ethic, and his football skills. Long before he came to the Patriots I knew who Rodney was, and anyone who has been playing fantasy football for as long as I have been, would know him as well...Always a top guy to get tackles, always playing hard and hurt...

Hard nosed players that goes for knees. Trents talking like a guy who had a superbowl caliber team and lost it because of an injury. But thanks for correcting me on the team he played for. You're right, Chargers were the team.

Green said that Harrison was partially blocked to the ground and that was the position he was in when he tackled him. No one goes for a QBs knees intentionally. Besides the ethics of it, tackling a QB low allows him to either tuck the ball away or throw it. Tackling a QB high gives you a better chance of causing a fumble. You can't honestly believe that Harrison aimed for his knees with the intention of tearing his ACL.

Even if he was only at 80%, he normally calls the plays for the defense, he could help I think.
Also, the Pats signed Amos Zereoue, former Steelers and Raiders running back. I'm surprised the Raiders didn't offer him a contract! He's decent.
