oops i forgot after you change the key in the file you have to save

That's exactly how I fixed my problem. The only other thing it said was to changed the file to a read only since the keys get overwritten on occasion and that will prevent that.

I feel the same way you do Dr.Noob. Somehow thru all this I feel like my reputation has been tarnished to a degree. I try very hard not to TK, I never bleed anyone on purpose and if I do either the word sorry is just about immediate. I never retaliate to anything that is done or said to me. I now feel like I'm being watched under a microscope when I play.

I don't like cheaters and don't cheat myself even if I did know how...lol...I never whined or bitched or begged to be let back in when I was banned because enough evidence was presented that there are many out there with the same CD-key. Since the decline of Wolf there are very few busy servers so it stands to reason that quite a few have played on ECG.

If I thought it would do me any good I would scan my Wolf case with my CD-key and post it but the only thing I think would happen then is there would be a more shared CD-keys in the system so I guess you guys and gals are gonna have to go on faith that I'm who I say I am and Dr. Noob is who is says he is and we are definately not the same people. And for you suspicious types that think "ah why wasn't ticks mentioned"...lol...I'm not him either. I play under Arkaine only, always have and always will. I don't see the purpose of an alias but that's just me.

After spending the time to read all of this thread...
I now wonder why, after heavy lagg or packet loss.
I get duplicate CD key, and banned for 2 minutes.
I wait, then all is better.
Anyone care to conjecture why this happens?
i have a unique store bought copy...
any takers?
