I use AMD. THey have a sensor on the die to read the tempature.

If you have an AMD chip hitting 65c without it being OCed, something is really wrong...

My A64 3200 Venice hits max 40c during the summer. You sure the HS is mounted correctly?

I don't even monitor my pc. I don't want to waste the resources doing so. LOL. If I had a problem I would turn the stuff on to figure it out though. I have an AMD 64 3500 and I've never had any issues with overheating or inconsistance or instability either.

Did you put the PC together yourself?
Was the overheating always an issue or was there a point where you noticed it? What was changed?
A lot of issues with computers can be traced to the user variable (error) . It was working fine until I did '_____'
