My suitemate just went home because she has mono. Now I might get the kissing disease because we all share silverware, and do you really think four college kids are going to wash silverware carefully?

I woke up feeling under the weather this morning with a cramp in my neck and upper back.

But just a visit at the NYU health center costs $100 and getting tested for it costs an arm and a leg, and I don't have that kind of money. They do not accept Aetna. They also won't tell me of any doctors in the area who do because they want my money, obviously.

So I'm going to keep up my boozing and such and just die of liver failure and spread it to as many unsuspecting souls as possible before I do so.

Speaking from the medical profession,

The main risk associated Mononucleosis is that you will rupture your spleen. It is rare for this to happen but it does happen.

Signs that you have mono include sore throat, headaches, swollen glands in your neck, and feeling tired. Symptoms usually last 4 weeks.

It is usually treated with rest, and drink lots of fluids .

In short, go out and have some fun, just don't hurt your spleen!

SPleens collect poisons, and when they rupture you die of the poisons.
