X3 a great game and yet so crappy.

X3 is a hoot! After you figure out how to play it is very fun.

But at the same time it sucks.

I captured my first ship, allowing me to upgrade my nooby ship to it's max specs, and the weapons and shit I captured i put ionto my ship. I then sold the partially damaged ship off raking in a good amount of credits. THe game also has a vast trading, manufacturing and mining system, and the ability to create a fleet.

It sucks because if you have the minimum required specs listen on the box, the game won't run. There is no unified place in the game where all the graphics, hardware, sound, ect options are listed. They are scattered in differnt menues.

Ship classes, you cna own and buy everything at this point except M0 classes, which are battleships and according to the manual they were all destroyed in he Xenon War.

M0=Battleship
M1=Carrier
M2=Destroyer/Cruiser
M3=Heavy Fighter
M4=Medium Fighter
M5=Scout/Light Fighter
M6=Corvette
TL=Transport Large
TP=Transport Personnel/Passenger
then various others

THe ship classes system makes it very cool to wing dang doodle your way up the ladder.
Lets say you are in a medium fighter, and you start attacking a carrier. THe captain will send you a message after about a minute asking if you are on spaceweed and tel,l you to stop or get dusted. If you don't stop. BOOM. :roflmao:
