Yep, thats true but the first two spins almost put the Dukes
into opposing traffic, the last spin looked a little better and
smarter. I don't know the details but i'm sure they felt or
was told to take them out when and how they did.

there are plenty of situations now where the cops are told to simply stop chasing the car. Often times the car is not stolen, and it's just a matter of running the plate numbers and then driving over to the assholes house and nab him in his driveway. An amazing amount of people flee from the cops over stupid stuff like expired license, inspection sticker, too many tickets etc. They panic over something minor and then give themselves (and all the innocent bystanders) something big to worry about.
